An Evening w/ Cameron Kent @ The Red Barn! with Kalman's Bon Appetit food truck!

Grassy Creek is honored to feature author Cameron Kent on Saturday, May 11th from 4 -7 pm promoting his newest book, ‘The Oak island Book Club’.

To top off the day, we have Kalman’s Bon Appetit food truck on site on Saturday, from noon until 6:30 pm! Make plans to dine on some delicious food while you are here enjoying readings and original music by Cameron!

Cameron Kent grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and after graduating from Wake Forest University, he embarked on a career in television journalism that spanned nearly 40 years. He received 14 Emmy nominations for his work in broadcasting, and won an Emmy for his reporting on the Pentagon after 9/11. He devoted much of his reporting to military veterans, chronicling their storeis from the battlefields of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Cameron is the author of 6 books including ‘The Road To Devotion’ which is currently in development for a feature film.

We look forward to his time with us including a reading from his newest book and hearing his original guitar music! Yes, he is bringing his guitar to Grassy Creek!
